Flexoplast produces a wide range of Packaging material for the Pet Food Industry.
The products find their way to renowned Pet Food- and Animal Bedding manufacturers in North-Europe. The delivery program exists out of a 3-layer coextruded LDPE film and a diversity of laminates which are tailor-made for the customer. Both types are usually printed where Flexoplast can make flexography up to 10 colours.
LDPE-film
This film is mainly used in Animal Bedding industry, to package hay, straw and wood fiber. These include both Coex film and Bio-Degradable Film. Flexoplast delivers flat foil but also bags in various designs and sizes. Wicket, Thurling, tear perforation, with or without handle, bottom fold, block bottom or hat foil, you cannot think of it or Flexoplast has a solution for it. Both flat foil and bags are supplied in full accordance with the desired specifications of the customer. As a result of this, the products are seamlessly integrated into the customer-specific production process. Our LDPE film is characterized by a high seal strength, a high puncture resistance and a clear gloss.
Laminate
Consumers need to rely on the freshness and the quality of the pet food. For all kinds of pets Flexoplast delivers tailor-made laminates. Think of rodent food, cat kibble, bird seed, etc. where the freshness and the quality of the products need to be guaranteed. The 2- to 3-layer laminates are being internally printed and confectioned. Flexoplast is printing each coated film, from Polyester to Polypropylene. This product will then be laminated by the highly valued laminate-LDPE, which is being internally extruded. Depending of the kind of application, the laminate will be constructed in such a way that it matches the desired properties, for example an oxygen barrier.
